Facilitator Support Meetings
Offered Monthly

Climate Group Facilitator Support Meetings are monthly events for CPA-NA members who have been trained in climate cafe facilitation by CPA at one of our training workshops.  Members who are facilitating other types of climate groups are welcome to attend this support meeting as well.  The monthly meetings are a place to reflect together on challenges, questions, and group processes as we hold, or plan to hold, Climate Emotion Support Groups.

The monthly Facilitator Support Meetings offered by CPA-NA utilize a “reflective discussion model.” The conversation is not solution-focused. Rather, it’s designed to think below the surface, to connect with feelings and to expand thinking to other levels than the individual, inclusive of the group or the system.  The discussion in the monthly meetings both deepens and broadens the issue presented and thinking together often brings surprising insight and clarity.

Beyond Climate Cafes: Additional Facilitator Support

There are many group formats for climate emotion support.  Every type of group has its own format and structure - and facilitators who need specific support may want to access these resources for additional information and guidance.

As the Hub evolves we plan on offering information and links to other types of Climate Emotion Groups and the facilitator support that is available for those offering groups in a variety of modalities.  If you have information about â€‹specific facilitator support that would be helpful for our members, please contact us.
